Directors Wayne Turner and Jeremy Gibbins saw an opportunity to create a premium delivery service to rival all others. Not wanting to be pigeon holed into “one service fits all” they used their contacts and the experience they had gained in haulage and airfreight to establish a one stop shop covering a variety of delivery modes… GT (Gibbins Turner) was created in 2000 and is still a work in progress – always developing and moving forward.

TEAM GT
Director: Wayne Turner – Wayne has a keen interest in endurance running, cycling and discovering & exploring new places with his family. In his garage (which doubles as his 2nd home) he enjoys spending his spare time building “new stuff ” out of “old stuff ” & restoring vintage bicycles.
Director: Jeremy Gibbins – Jez is fascinated in anything with an engine, trucks, superbike racing and all things MotoGP. A firm family man, he enjoys the idea of always exploring new opportunities that life and business have to offer.
Operation Manager: Steve Vass lives and breathes logistics, we find it hard to drag him away from his desk. When we do get him out of the office, Steve likes playing around in the hills and mountains of the UK.
Transport Dispatcher: Andy Anderson – previously one of our top drivers and very methodical, Andy injects a great sense of humour into the office environment.
Transport Manager: Ray Elliott is a seasoned transport manager, having previously worked for a number of companies including TDG Logistics, Danish Bacon and Clearway Transport, where he gained a fountain of knowledge before then spending time in our operations department learning the ropes for GT. Now taking up the position of TM for GT, Ray brings a wealth of information to the role as well as his unique sense of humour – working with Steve Vass (Ops Man) to keep our vehicles compliant and on the road.
Head of Accounts & Credit Control: Deborah Kerry is new to the team, having joined us in February 2020. Deborah has hit the ground running, picking things up quickly and implementing her own systems. She is charged with keeping the finances in place and running payroll – a superb fit to the team.
Administrator: Gabby Carter – The newest member to Team GT, Gabby is bright and bubbly, a perfect fit to deal with all our inhouse and customer queries.
Drivers & Porters: Too many to mention but all vital members to Team GT, knowledgeable helpful and efficient… Our “front of house” road warriors.
