A big congratulations to Ben Godfrey for ending his race season on a high following the midseason dramas. We hope that GT Couriers will be able to offer continued support to Ben throughout the 2019 season and beyond. Here is what he had to say about his 2018 racing campaign:

On a whole I’m happy with my 2018 campaign and it was very enjoyable. Unfortunately I had to miss a large part of the season due a couple of reasons, but we regrouped and got back on track from Cadwell Park onwards. I am very happy with how my last quarter of the season has gone, we were consistently inside the top 10 throughout sessions and secured four 11th place finishes in my last 5 races in the SSK1000. The last two rounds at Oulton Park and Brands Hatch GP we managed to secure 7th on the grid for both races, which is a great achievement.

Assen was a great event for me with some great company, we managed to top every session including coming away with a double race win. The event might not be the highest level but my lap times were strong and would have done me proud inside the Superbike Grid.

Now the season has finished it’s amazing to already be sorted for the 2019 season – signed, sealed and delivered. It’s not very often that you can say you have a ride secured before the season has even finished!

I am extremely excited to share the news with everyone in the coming weeks – we have a very realistic goal as a team and we see ourselves inside the top 7 each weekend. I have been close to achieving this at the end of this year.

I’ll be training hard to make sure I can achieve this goal and I know the team will be working just as hard as well – excited is an understatement!

A HUGE thank you to Jez Gibbins and the whole team at GT Couriers, without your support for this season nothing would have been possible and the same goes for the 2019 season. I really cannot wait to promote your company again!
