With the festive season upon us, we understand the importance of planning logistics with confidence for businesses. At GT Couriers, we remain committed to supporting our customers throughout the Christmas and New Year period, even as our operating hours adjust slightly over the holidays.

Below is a clear overview of our availability over the 2025 festive period, so you can plan ahead and continue moving goods with minimal disruption.

Office Opening & On-Call Cover

  • Up to and including Wednesday 24th December (Christmas Eve)

Our office will be fully operational with normal service levels in place.

  • Thursday 25th December (Christmas Day) – Sunday 28th December

While our office will be closed, we will have on-call staff available covering the phones from home to assist with urgent requirements.

  • Monday 29th December – Wednesday 31st December (New Year’s Eve)

We’ll be back in the office and operating with reduced but reliable festive period cover.

  • Thursday 1st January (New Year’s Day)

On-call staff will again be available to support time-critical enquiries.

  • From Friday 2nd January onwards

It’s business as usual at GT HQ with full service levels resumed.

Between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, availability will be limited due to the holiday period. However, our experienced team will do everything possible to accommodate urgent or unexpected delivery requests. If a last-minute or “curveball” job arises, we encourage you to get in touch – we’ll always endeavour to find a solution.

Planning Ahead

To ensure the smoothest possible service over the festive period, we recommend booking time-critical or high-volume deliveries in advance wherever possible. Early communication helps us allocate resources effectively and maintain our high standards of service.
