It’s always been important to actively work to prevent the spread of winter-borne illnesses over the colder months, however in light of the events of the past few years we’ve all learned that it’s more important than ever to take extra precautions to protect ourselves and each other from spreading colds, flu and – of course – the dreaded Coronavirus.
In response to increasing cases of winter-borne viruses, including Covid-19, over this winter period, we have resumed in cab vehicle fogging over the past few months to keep both our drivers and our clients healthy and safe.
What is in cab fogging?
Fogging is a proven sanitising method that’s widely used in the US, Singapore, China, and many other countries for infection control.
A fogging machine generates very small airborne droplets of disinfectant, allowing it to cover larger inaccessible areas that would be difficult, and in some cases near impossible, to clean effectively with just sprays and wipes.
This method of sanitisation is quicker, more efficient and more effective than manually cleaning the surfaces in our vehicle cabs by hand, meaning we can get our fleet back out on the road without cutting corners when it comes to everybody’s health and safety.
